Today, I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on the alpha male in the La Push Pack, Sam Uley…
Like Jacob, no one really gets him. He’s a man of mystery, or wolf of mystery, whichever you prefer. He has a lot to hide, and be guilty about.
- He’s a werewolf
- He really shouldn’t be the Alpha in the Pack
- He almost killed his imprint, Emily Young
- Emily has to live with the scars of his mistake for the rest of her life
- He imprinted on his high school sweetheart, Leah’s cousin, Emily
- He had to dump Leah for Emily
- He used to be thought of as a cult leader
See… A lot to hide, a lot to be guilty about… I say he doesn’t deserve all this guilt, mainly because we know that he loves and cares so much about Emily, but is constantly guilty about having to leave Leah for her. But really, I blame Leah for his guilt!
I mean, the poor guy has to live with the guilt of hurting Emily permanantly, but now having to be guilty for leaving her heartbroken… Seriously! He has enough problems to deal with!
Like, Jake running away to flippin’ CANADA! And the Cullens breaking the treaty. AND worrying about more vamps in Forks and La Push! I mean, if I were him, I would probably be a pizza faced freak! What a stressful life! I think he’s actually handling it really well though. Because he actually had to fight with his arch enemy instead of againstthe ‘leaches’. He didn’t have to do it, but he chose what was good for the pack.
